Fatal accident on Lagos-Ibadan expressway claim 5 lives and 16 others seriously injured

 



Not less than 5 persons have died in an fatal accident along the mower axis of the Lagos-Ibadan highway on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the road crash occured around 2:45pm, confirming the incident,the ogun state traffic complaince and Enforcement(Trace) corps spokespersons,Babatunde Akinbiyi informed that the"mazda  bus rammed into the lowbed truck while making a u-turn at Danliti turn".

16 persons,including a toddler,were said to have sustained a fatal injuries in the accident that involve 21 persons ,14 males and 7 females.

Akinbiyi disclosed that the injured victims were rescued to Idera private hospial,saying the toddler was taking to olabisi onabanjo University teaching hospital,sagamu.

The dead bodies according to Akinbiyi were taken to Idera private morgue
