Businessman and entrepreneur, Ben Murray-Bruce, has revealed that he started the Silverbird Group with a ₦20,000 loan from his siblings.
Speaking during the Silverbird 45th Anniversary celebration in Lagos, Murray-Bruce reflected on the early stages of his entrepreneurial journey and emphasized the critical role family support played in building one of Africa’s recognized indigenous conglomerates.
According to him, the financial assistance and encouragement he received from his siblings helped lay the foundation for what would eventually grow into a major media, entertainment, and business brand.
Over the years, the Silverbird Group has expanded into various sectors including television, radio broadcasting, cinemas, pageantry, and entertainment events, becoming a prominent name in Nigeria’s media industry.
